From May 10-25, 2025, you’ll be on the move! The journey begins with an overnight stay in Salta, followed by a series of hikes and explorations that alternate between urban and rural settings. After the overnight stay in the city, you will experience guided hikes in stunning locations like La Quebrada de Las Senoritas and explore Iruya's breathtaking viewpoints. Then there will be a multi-day backpacking expedition through high-altitude trails, transitioning from dry mountains to lush jungles. You will also have the opportunity to participate in evening art fairs and local events, enhancing your understanding of the Puna Region’s cultural heritage.
This isn’t just about hiking; it’s also about growth. You’ll learn crucial outdoor leadership skills, such as Leave No Trace principles, that will serve you well beyond this trip.
